WELCOME newly appointed commissioner Mr. Dinesh Waghmare (IAS, IIT)

We, at Pimpri Chinchwad Citizens Forum, welcome newly appointed commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Mr. Dninesh Waghmare (IAS, IIT) to the city, on behalf of all citizens associations. We are glad to see the capable person in you now assigned to steer the city which is known for its industries, IT sector, Saarathi project and Bhakti Shakti sculpture. Sir, we are proud to introduce ourselves as "PCCF" and we are voluntarily egnaged with PCMC for last four years in various projects of citizens' interests viz. Valid suggestions and active participation in various projects, techincal consultations, participatory budgeting etc. Numerous such examles of citizen - government participation have been recoginsed at various levels. Amidst such excellent social scenario, the exclusion of Pimpri Chinchwad from the list of smart city project certainly is disappinting but we are sure the city will progress "smart"ly under your able leadership.
