The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has decided to develop green spaces in the fringe areas of the twin township — Punawale, Charholi, Chikhli, Pimpri Waghere, Akurdi, Kharalwadi and Pimpri Waghere — under the proposed Amrut (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) scheme.
