PMC seeks standing committee nod for its Metro stretch: With neighbouring Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) agreeing to bear the cost of the part of the proposed metro rail route from Pimpri-Chinchwad to Swargate that falls in its jurisdiction, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has sought a similar approval from the PMC standing committee for the route passing through the PMC area so that it can be sent it to the state government for further action.
