PUNE / PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: It was party time forcab services on the New Year's eve as most people in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad decided to leave their vehicles at home and take a taxi instead. All taxi services reported a significant rise in business, with some reporting up to 100 percent spike in demand. However, witnessing the rising the demand some taxi services even doubled their fares.
