The Civic Health department plans to use the new depot for garbage generated in zone A (Moshi, Nigdi, Akurdi, Chinchwad and others) and zone B (Pimpri, Chinchwadgaon, Ravet, Punawale, Tathawade and others) in order to reduce transportation cost.
