Veteran historian and writer Shiv Shahir Babasaheb Purandare will be conferred with the prestigious Maharashtra Bhushan award by the state government.
A committee headed by state cultural affairs minister Vinod Tawade selected Purandare for the award and the decision was approved by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
