Pune: The city, including areas within Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad municipal limits, continues to record highest number of dengue cases in the state this year .
As per the latest report of the state health department, the areas falling under Pune municipal limits recorded 1,058 dengue cases, followed by Greater Mumbai (913), Nashik (504) and Pimpri Chinchwad (342). The areas under these four municipal corporations collectively recorded 2,817 (58%) of the total dengue cases in the state till October this year. The state's tally stands at 4,797.
