PUNE: The state government may frame new land lease ruleswith the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) finding gross land lease violations across Maharashtra.
PAC has pointed out gross lease violations with respect to lands leased out by various district collectorates to educational institutions and local bodies. The violations pertain to non-renewal of lease to re-leasing of land without permission and non-usage of land for the purpose lease was granted.
