The civic body has long been struggling to get work done
The long queue of officials vying for a posting in the Pimpri- Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) seems to have diminished — so much so that the civic body has been struggling to get candidates for two important senior posts. The pressure has heightened to such a degree that a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in the corporation was forced to directly approach the chief minister, requesting him to make appointments to the vacant posts as soon as possible and resolve the problem.
