Bapat tells MIDC to solve Hinjewadi woes by April

Pimpri Chinchwad: Guardian minister Girish Bapat has urged officials concerned to develop alternative roads by April next year to ease the perennial traffic congestion in the Rajiv Gandhi IT Park in Hinjewadi. In a special meeting at Mantralaya, Bapat made the appeal to industries minister Subhash Desai, district collector Saurabh Rao and PMRDA chief Kiran Gitte. Also present at the meeting were officials from Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Public Works Department (PWD), National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), and Hinjewadi Industries Association (HIA).
