Developer's excavation uproots society's trees, boundary wall caves in

Residents file cop complaint for threat to life and property, approach PCMC to reverse damage; builder says he will duly compensate them
The 89 families residing in Nisarg Nirman Co-operative Housing society in Pimple Saudagar woke up on Sunday morning to eight big trees lying uprooted near their retaining compound wall, with a portion of the wall caving in. The trees had fallen in the early hours, thanks to reckless excavation near the boundary wall since a week by a reputable developer who owns the neighbouring plot.
