PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: For 95 days, hundreds of volunteers from various social organizations laboured to free Pavana river of water hyacinth.
A little over three months ago, organizations like Pimpri Chinchwad Citizens Forum (PCCF), Bhavsar Vision and Nisargamitra followed the lead of the Rotary Club of Walhekarwadi, and together removed 550 truckloads of water hyacinth from the river.
