Strict action against private vehicles using new BRTS lane: PCMC top cop

With chaotic traffic conditions and minor accidents, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) newly opened Bus Rapid Transit System’s (BRTS) Nigdi-Dapodi corridor has already become a headache for Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) passengers. To curb this, private vehicles, except for ambulances, will be strictly barred from using BRTS lane.
