Multiplex body awaits state’s nod to stop playing national anthem

PUNE: As the Supreme Court has made the playing of the national anthem at theatres optional, the city-based Multiplex Association of India will be approaching the state government to seek an amendment to its earlier circular, which mandated multiplexes to play the national anthem before each film screenings.
