Indian civic body Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) plans to deploy a 750-km optical fibre network, create 300 Wi-Fi hotspots, and install CCTV cameras at 600 locations, The Economic Times reports. Overall investments in the project are expected to reach INR 6 billion.
