State to make water meters compulsory: CM: Tackling the worst drinking water challenge in five decades PIMPRI: Confronted with the worst drinking water crisis in the last five decades, the State government is now moving to introduce 100 per cent monitoring of water usage in urban areas by making installation of water meters compulsory, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said on Friday.
