धावणाऱ्या बसची काच निखळते तेव्हा…!

पिंपरी – बीआरटी बससेवेला “ब्रेकडाऊन’ने ग्रासले असतानाच आता बसच्या दर्जावरच प्रश्‍नचिन्ह उभे राहिले आहे. बीआरटी मार्गातून धावत असलेल्या बसची समोरील काच निखळून पडल्याचा प्रकार खराळवाडी येथे सकाळी साडेअकराच्या सुमारास घडला. अचानक घडलेल्या या प्रकारामुळे बस चालकासह प्रवासीही भांबावले.

कासारवाडीत महापौरांच्या हस्ते विसर्जन घाटाचे उद्घाटन

गणेशोत्सवाचा मुहूर्त गाठत पुणे पोलीस आयुक्तालयातून आज (गुरुवार) पिंपरी-चिंचवड पोलीस आयुक्तालयामध्ये फौजदार, शिपाई, नाईक आणि हवालदार असे एकूण १६६९ कर्मचारी वर्ग करण्यात आले आहेत. १५ ऑगस्ट रोजी सुरु झालेले पिंपरी-चिंचवड पोलीस आयुक्तालयमध्ये मनुष्यबळ अपुरे असल्याने बऱ्याचशा अडचणींना पोलिसांना समोरे जावे लागत होतो. मात्र या वर्गीकरणानंतर डबल ड्युटी करणाऱ्या पोलिस कर्मचाऱ्यांनी सुटकेचा स्वास घेतला आहे.

पिंपरी – पिंपरी-चिंचवड महापालिका निवडणुकीत आरक्षित जागेवरून निवडून आल्यानंतर विहित मुदतीत जात प्रमाणपत्र सादर न केल्याने भाजपच्या चार नगरसेवकांची माहिती महापालिकेने राज्य सरकारच्या नगर विकास विभागाकडे पाठवली आहे. त्यामुळे चार नगरसेवकांचे भवितव्य आता राज्य सरकारच्या हाती आहे. राज्य सरकार जे निर्देश देईल, त्यानुसार नगरसेवक पद रद्द करण्याबाबत निर्णय घेतला जाणार असल्याचे निवडणूक विभागाचे सहाय्यक आयुक्‍त डॉ. प्रवीण आष्टीकर यांनी सांगितले.

PCMC to set up separate ward at YCM for swine flu patients

Despite a surge in the number of swine flu patients in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area and as many as 20 deaths reported since January, no specific steps have been taken towards it. As a majority of the patients suffering from swine flu come to the PCMC-run Yeshwantrao Chavan Municipal (YCM) Hospital, Pimpri, the civic body’s standing committee has ordered the health department to set up a separate ward for swine flu patients at the hospital.

Centre allows changes in Smart City plan, but only if they match ‘spirit of mission, aspirations of people’

In response to pleas by several cities which are part of its Smart City Mission, the central government has decided to allow changes in the Smart City Plan (SCP), as well as approve the projects proposed by the respective cities, but only on the condition that the revised plan maintains the “spirit and objective” of the mission. In an advisory issued to all 100 Smart Cities, the Union Urban Development Department said that proposing changes in the SCP and implementing them would be allowed, but only if the process ensured that the “spirit and objective of the mission was maintained, and it incorporated the aspirations of the people”.

राजगुरुनगरला रस्ता रुंदीकरण

राजगुरुनगर - राजगुरुनगर शहरातून जाणाऱ्या आणि नेहमी वाहतूक कोंडी होत असलेल्या पुणे-नाशिक महामार्गाच्या तीन किलोमीटर भागाच्या रुंदीकरणाचे काम सुरू करण्यात आले आहे. हे रुंदीकरण झाल्यावर वाहतूक कोंडीतून काही अंशी दिलासा मिळणार आहे.
