The end of Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra might come as a windfall for BJP hopefuls in the three Assembly constituencies of Pimpri, Chinchwad and Bhosari. While Eknath Pawar, a senior BJP leader, declared that he would file his nomination from Bhosari on Friday, party hopefuls in other areas are also gearing up to fight the elections alone. On Thursday night, independent MLA Laxman Jagtap joined the BJP in the presence of Eknath Pawar. Sources said he might be fielded from Chinchwad.
