Days numbered for over 20,000 self-help groups

With the Union government all set to scrap the scheme of giving loans to women’s self-help groups (SHGs), the decision will have a bearing on over 20,000 such groups in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad that have rapidly mushroomed in the last few years.
