The SWaCH Pune Seva Sahakari Sanstha Maryadit staff and waste picker members, along with 250 volunteers, worked across 21 ghats in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad on Sunday and Monday during the Ganpati immersion. Work started as early as noon in some ghats, a statement issued by SWaCH said.
