Pune City Police on Tuesday launched a Social Media Monitoring Laboratory, under the purview of Cyber Crime Cell to keep a close watch on activities on social media.
The facility, the second of its kind in Maharashtra after Mumbai, has been established to monitor objectionable messages, communally sensitive posts and content that may hurt sentiments of individuals or communities.
