The developers have formed companies and would focus on road construction, sewage treatment plants and solid waste management on a no-profit-no-loss basis.
To speed up effective development of the area under its jurisdiction, the Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Autho-rity (PMRDA) has promoted non-profit companies to take up responsibility on its behalf to provide basic civic amenities.
