PCMC comes down hard on those commercially exploiting gardens

Shiv Srushti garden in Sangvi is being used for commercial purposes without permission from the garden department
Shiv Srushti garden in Sangvi, set up at a cost of Rs 1.75 crore by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), was inaugurated in November 2012. The one-acre garden has murals depicting events in the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Now it is being used for commercial purposes, such as exhibitions of home appliances, distribution of gift articles to voters by political parties, etc. And the garden department is doing nothing to stop such activities.
