‘स्मार्ट सिटी’ला हवी नव्या ‘व्हिजन’ची जोड

केंद्र सरकारच्या स्मार्ट सिटी योजनेअंतर्गत निवड करण्यात येणाऱ्या देशातील शंभर शहरांमध्ये पिंपरी-चिंचवडचा समावेश व्हावा, या साठी राजकीय आणि प्रशासकीय पातळीवर कसोशीने प्रयत्न होत आहेत. मात्र, केवळ अनुदानाच्या लाभासाठी योजनांमध्ये सहभागी होण्याचे ध्येय न बाळगता स्थानिक पातळीवर काटेकोर अंमलबजावणीचे 'व्हिजन' असणे आवश्यक आहे. अन्यथा, विकासाचे संतुलन बिघडण्याची शक्यता अधिक आहे.
