पिंपरी - शहरातील सर्व वृक्षांची गणना भौगोलिक माहिती प्रणालीचा (जीआयएस) वापर करून केली जाणार आहे. त्याशिवाय वृक्षगणनेसाठी प्रत्यक्ष स्थळाची पाहणी केली जाणार आहे. या प्रणालीच्या वापरामुळे लावलेल्या आणि तोडलेल्या झाडांची नेमकी संख्या समजणार आहे. तसेच झाडांच्या अवैध कत्तलीलाही लगाम बसणार आहे. याबाबतच्या प्रस्तावाला बुधवारी (ता. 27) महापालिकेच्या स्थायी समितीच्या सभेत मंजुरी मिळाली.

तुकाराम मुंढेंना पुन्हा जीवे मारण्याच्या धमकीचे पत्र

पुणे (प्रतिनिधी):- पुणे महानगर परिवहन महामंडळाचे (पीएमपीएमएल) व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक तुकाराम मुंढे यांना पुन्हा एकदा धमकीचे पत्र मिळाले आहे. यापूर्वी नाव असलेल्या भुजंगराव मोहिते याच व्यक्तीच्या नावाने हे पत्र पाठवण्यात आले आहे. मागील पत्रापेक्षा आज पाठवलेल्या पत्रातील भाषा ही अधिक तीव्र स्वरूपाची असून, मुंढे यांच्यासह कुटुंबाला जीवे मारण्याची धमकी देण्यात आली आहे. हिंदी आणि मराठी मिश्रित भाषेतील हे पत्र पोस्टाद्वारे पीएमपीएमएल कार्यालयात पोचले. या विरोधात पीएमपीएमएल प्रशासनाने स्वारगेट पोलिस ठाणे आणि पुणे पोलिस आयुक्तांना पत्र दिले आहे.
