पिंपरी - गुढीपाडव्यापासून राज्यात संपूर्ण प्लॅस्टिकबंदी करण्याचा निर्णय सरकारने घेतला आहे. या निर्णयाचे जोरदार स्वागत पर्यावरणप्रेमी नागरिकांनी केले आहे; तर दुसरीकडे प्लॅस्टिक आणि थर्माकोलचा पुनर्वापर होत असल्याने हा निर्णय मागे घ्यावा व जनजागृती करावी, अशी मागणी पिंपरी चिंचवड शहरातील प्लॅस्टिक असोसिएशनने केली आहे.

PCMC-Swargate route: Civic body land acquisition delay may slow down Maha Metro construction

The metro construction work along the 16.5-km Maha Metro route, connecting Pimpri-Chinchwad to Swargate, is likely to hit a hurdle at Khadki area, as the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) delayed approaching the Ministry of Defence (MoD) seeking transfer of land. Of the 14 stations along the PCMC-Swargate route, three stations — Bopodi, Khadki and Range Hill — have been planned in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) limits, land for which has been identified and agreed upon for transfer by the board authorities, after getting clearances from the MoD.

Hinjawadi-Shivajinagar Metro: Tender to be finalised by April 27

The three shortlisted private companies that are likely to carry out the construction of the metro line between Hinjewadi and Shivajinagar will need to submit the proposed final project reports by April 27. The announcement was made by the Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA), which is in-charge of constructing the third metro line measuring 23.3 km. Approval for setting up the metro line along the route was given by the central government last week, after which tenders had been floated. Tata Realty Siemens, ILFS and IRB were the three companies shortlisted, as per the guidelines of the Centre.

पिंपरी - नवनगर विकास प्राधिकरणाच्या निवासी भूखंड सोडतीला मोठा प्रतिसाद मिळाला. ३८ भूखंडांपैकी पहिल्या टप्प्यात विविध पेठांमधील २३ भूखंडांसाठी तब्बल ७१९ इच्छुकांनी लिलावात भाग घेतला. त्यांच्या अर्जांची छाननी शुक्रवारी सुरू झाली. मात्र, कोणी कोणत्या भूखंडासाठी किती रक्कम भरली याची माहिती मंगळवारी (ता. २१) कळणार आहे.
