The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) proposal to restart the old slaughterhouse in its area was on hold for a while as the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) raised questions in August over its preparedness. Now the civic body claims to have fulfilled the norms required to restart the slaughterhouse.
