The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has sanctioned Rs 67.25 lakh to be paid to the deputy conservator of forest (Pune) for planting trees, so that all conditions regarding transfer of land at Punawale for the proposed garbage depot are fulfilled.
