Finally, commuters between Nigdi in Pimpri-Chinchwad and Dehu Road cantonment will be able to breathe easy as the the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has decided to widen the two-lane highway into a four-lane one. The 6.6 km stretch has claimed more than 200 people and left another 250 injured in accidents in the last 10 years.
