Chemists’ Association objects to ‘online sale of abortion kits without prescription’

The Chemists’ Association of Pune has hit out against the manner in which medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) kits were allegedly being sold by certain online pharmacies without a prescription. “I could procure one easily using another name,” said Vijay Changediya, secretary of the association. In a letter to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the association lashed out against any kind of regulation of online pharmacies.

स्थायी समिति अध्यक्ष के बाद अब महापौर और सभागृह नेता बदलाव की बयार चल पड़ी है। बीते दिन पुणे समाचार ने “महापौर भोसरी का ही” शीर्षक तले खबर प्रकाशित कर स्थायी समिति अध्यक्ष पद को लेकर पिम्परी चिंचवड़ मनपा की सत्ताधारी भाजपा में सियासी घमासान शांत करने के लिए दोनों विधायकों के बीच हुई ‘डील’ का खुलासा किया था। आज इस लिहाज से गतिविधियां तेज हो गई हैं। स्थायी का अध्यक्ष पद न मिलने से नाराज चल रहे भोसरी के विधायक महेश लांडगे के कट्टर समर्थक राहुल जाधव ने आज अपना इस्तीफा महापौर नितिन कालजे को सौंप दिया। वहीं एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में महापौर कालजे के इस्तीफे के बारे पूछने पर भाजपा शहराध्यक्ष व विधायक लक्ष्मण जगताप ने गोलमोल जवाब देकर टालने की कोशिश की। आज के ये दोनों वाकये महापौर बदलाव की ओर साफ इशारा करते हैं। राहुल जाधव का इस्तीफा महापौर पद के लिए ही है, यह चर्चा सियासी गलियारे में शुरू हो गई है।
