PIMPRI CGINCHWAD: The anti-encroachment department and the civic officials in Pimpri Chinchwad are at loggerheads. The Pimpri Chinchwad civic panel has alleged that whenever the anti-encroachment department tries to clear encroachments and take action against hand-cart owners, the civic officials and employees try to evade the action by taking the names of local corporators. The officials, however, have denied the charge.

पिंपरी (Pclive7.com):- पुणे-नाशिक राष्ट्रीय महामार्गावरील नाशिकफाटा ते चांडोली(खेड) रस्ता सहापदरीकरण या २९.९३ कि.मी. लांबीच्या १०१३.७८ कोटी रकमेच्या कामास मान्यता मिळाली आहे. या कामाची निविदा प्रक्रिया येत्या दिड महिन्यात भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरणाकडून पूर्ण करण्यात येणार असून लवकरच या कामाला सुरुवात होणार आहे. त्यामुळे भोसरीचे आमदार महेश लांडगे यांच्या पाठपुराव्याला मोठे यश मिळाले आहे. सहापदरीकरण करण्यास मान्यता दिल्याबाबत केंद्रीय रस्ते वाहतूक मंत्री नितीन गडकरी आणि भाजप सरकारचे भोसरीचे आमदार महेश लांडगे यांनी आभार मानले आहेत.

पवना नदी पात्रातील जलपर्णी मुक्‍तीचा महापालिकेचा निर्धार; ठेकेदारांऐवजी मजूर लावून कामे करणार?

पिंपरी, (nirbhidsatta.com) – पवना नदी स्वच्छतेसाठी आता महापालिकेने पुढाकार घेतला आहे. दरवर्षी नद्यांमधील जलपर्णी काढण्यासाठी ठेकेदारांवर सुमारे 15 लाख रुपये खर्च करण्यात येतो. तरीही पवना नदी अद्याप जलपर्णी मुक्‍त झालेली नाही. त्यामुळे प्रत्येक वर्षी जलपर्णी काढण्याकरिता ठेकेदारांवर खर्च करण्याऐवजी शहरातील 40 जणांच्या मजूर टीमकडून पवना नदीतील जलपर्णी काढण्यात यावी, अशी मागणी सत्तारुढ पक्षनेते एकनाथ पवार यांनी आयुक्‍त श्रावण हर्डीकर यांच्याकडे केली. त्यानूसार आयुक्‍तांनी जलपर्णी काढण्याबाबत ठेकेदारांकडील सध्यस्थिती जाणून घेवून त्यानंतर संबंधित व्यक्‍तींना मजूरी देण्यासह त्यांच्याकडून जलपर्णी काढण्यावर निर्णय घेण्यात येईल, असे आश्‍वासन दिले आहे.
