“The 100-metre stretch of pavement on both sides of the busy Aundh-Wakad road is narrow. Now to make matters worse the already narrow footpath is strewn with uprooted cement blocks while trenches dot the pavement. It cannot be used by citizens. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) should immediately conduct the repair work of the pavement so that the hapless pedestrians don’t suffer,” Hiremath added.
