The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has finally found a solution to the Gandhinagar- Bopodi slum rehabilitation dispute. Following a revised survey the authorities have decided that most of the slum dwellers can be accommodated in the SRA schemes in Bopodi itself and do not have to move to Aundh. Slum dwellers and corporators from the area have welcomed the move.
