Pimpri Chinchwad: The civic body will send a letter to the traffic police to make the busy Nashik Phata Chowk on Pune-Mumbai highway signal-free.
Vijay Bhojane, the spokesperson of the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) cell, said there was no need of signal because the fourth ramp of the flyover was opened for traffic on Monday. He said the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) would request Ashok Morale, the deputy commissioner of police (traffic), to convene a meeting to discuss the step.
