Get set to junk small eats while in theatres

Soon, you can forget munching popcorn or any other snack of your choice and sipping a drink, as you catch the action on the big screen in movie theatres, if you are in Maharashtra. In the tussle to make multiplexes amenable to allowing audiences to bring in their own (outside) food, the state government is all set to invoke Section 121 of the Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1966, which bans sale and supply of any food or drink inside the screening auditorium.
