शहरातील 11 पंपांवर मिळेल 24 तास पेट्रोल पुणे - भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेडने (बीपीसीएल) शहराच्या विविध भागांतील 11 पेट्रोल पंपांवर 24 तास सेवा उपलब्ध केली आहे. येत्या तीन महिन्यांत अशा पंपांची संख्या 15 वर नेण्याचा निर्णय कंपनीने घेतला आहे. शहरातील सात पंपांवरही सीएनजी उपलब्ध केला असून, वर्षभरात त्यांची संख्याही दहावर नेण्यात येणार आहे.

महागड्या औषधांना जेनेरिकचा डोस पुणे - दिवसेंदिवस महागड्या होणाऱ्या वैद्यकीय सेवेतील औषधांचा खर्च कमी करण्यासाठी "इंडियन मेडिकल असोसिएशन'च्या (आयएमए) पुणे शाखेने 72 जेनेरिक औषधांची यादी प्रसिद्ध केली आहे. त्यात रुग्णाचे प्राण वाचविणाऱ्या औषधांसह मधुमेह आणि उच्च रक्तदाब या रोगांवर नियमित लागणाऱ्या औषधांचाही समावेश आहे.

Last year, the civic body demolished nearly 9 lakh square feet illegal constructions. Now, the civic authority is set to recover its demolition charges from the owners.
