Neighbouring residents had complained of theft incidents; authorities had issued warning
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on Thursday carried out a massive drive at the Hindustan Antibiotics (HA) Limited ground in Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri to clear it of squatters. Most of the evicted tenants belong to the Phase Pardhi community and claim to have lived on this land for almost 15-20 years now.
