पुणे – पुणे-लोणावळा रेल्वे मार्गावरील तिसऱ्या आणि चौथ्या ट्रॅकसाठी जमीन हस्तांतरणाचा तिढा बिकट आहे. तो सुटल्यास येत्या पाच वर्षांत हा ट्रॅक उपनगरीय रेल्वेसाठी वापरता येणे शक्‍य होणार आहे, अशी माहिती रेल्वेचे विभागीय व्यवस्थापक मिलिंद देऊस्कर यांनी दिली.

The Bahinabai Chaudhary Zoo (BCZ), Akurdi run by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), is on course for an overall revamp that will give it an international feel and visitors can expect to have a first of its kind experience in the country. For the revamp the municipal body has selected the tagline ‘Small is beautiful’ and the revamp focuses of appreciating the beauty and significance of smaller creatures. The local body has now decided to divert people’s attention from large mammals, to reptiles and birds which are equally important according to zoo authorities.

Corporation set to collect property, water tax through apps, smart cards

PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: In an effort to promote e-governance, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will collect property and water tax via mobile applications, e-wallets, smart cards, and other such facilities. As many as 100 municipal offices, across all eight civic zones, will be equipped for the online services.

नवी दिल्ली  – घरगुती वापराचा एलपीजी गॅस सिलिंडर स्वस्त झाला असून आजपासूनच नवे दर लागू होणार आहेत. तेल कंपन्यांनी 1 मार्चपासून एलपीजी गॅस सिलिंडरच्या दरात कपात करण्याचा निर्णय घेतल्याने सरकारकडून ही घोषणा करण्यात आली.

पुणे-मिरज मार्गासाठी लागणार 7 वर्षे

पुणे : पुणे-मिरज लोहमार्गाच्या दुहेरीकरणाचे काम पूर्ण होण्यास 7 वर्षे लागणार आहेत. 2 हजार 500 कोटी रुपयांची तरतूद त्यासाठी करण्यात आली आहे. दरवर्षी 40 किलोमीटरचे दुहेरीकरण पूर्ण करण्याचे उद्दिष्ट्य ठेवण्यात आले आहे. पुणे-मिरज-कोल्हापूर लोहमार्गावरील विद्युतीकरणाचे काम 2021 अखेरपर्यंत पूर्ण करण्यात येणार आहे.
